This dataset originates from the Pew Research Center and Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life’s July 2012 Religion and Politics Survey, conducted between June 28 and July 9, 2012. It includes a general public sample of 2,973 U.S. adults and a supplemental oversample of 511 religiously unaffiliated individuals (Atheist, Agnostic, or “nothing in particular”). The survey explores political attitudes, religious affiliation, and voter preferences leading up to the 2012 presidential election.
