Pew Research Center – January 2017 Political Survey Conducted January 4–9, 2017 (N=1,502), this nationally representative survey captures public sentiment ahead of Donald Trump’s inauguration. Topics include views on Trump’s transition, cabinet picks, health care policy, Russian interference, and perceived threats to the U.S. The dataset uses a dual-frame RDD sample of landline and cell phone users, with multiple weighting variables (, , ) to support full-sample and mode-specific analyses. Constructed variables include race and race-ethnicity, and geographic data is derived from self-reported ZIP codes.
