Pew Research Center – January 2013 Knowledge Survey Conducted January 18–24, 2013 (N=1,041), this online survey tested public knowledge of current affairs using both visual and verbal formats. Administered via Knowledge Networks’ nationally representative panel, the survey included 13 items ranging from identifying political figures and economic symbols to interpreting maps and graphs. The dataset is weighted for national representation and includes pre-collected demographic variables prefixed with “PP.”
