Punjab Development Statistics (PDS) is an annual statistical publication produced by the Bureau of Statistics, Punjab that compiles comprehensive data on the social, economic, demographic, and financial conditions of Punjab. Published continuously since 1972, it serves as one of the province's most important official statistical resources. The dataset covers a wide range of sectors including agriculture, education, health, population, labor, industry, transport, housing, public finance, energy, and trade, with information often presented at provincial, divisional, district, and tehsil levels. PDS is widely used by policymakers, researchers, development organizations, and students to analyze trends, monitor development progress, and support evidence-based decision-making across Punjab.
