Title: Pew Research Center – STEM Survey Fieldwork Dates: July 11 – August 10, 2017 Sample Size: N = 4,914 U.S. adults Mode: Web-based survey (English and Spanish) Panel Source: GfK KnowledgePanel, a nationally representative online panel Purpose: This survey investigates public perceptions of STEM careers, workplace equity, educational experiences, and demographic representation in science, technology, engineering, and math fields. It includes an oversample of STEM workers and supports Pew’s landmark report on gender and racial disparities in STEM employment.
