Pew Research Center – July 2010 News Interest Index / Knowledge Quiz (Omnibus Survey) Conducted July 1–5, 2010 (excluding July 4 due to Independence Day), this omnibus survey includes 1,007 respondents and explores public awareness and interest in current events. It features both landline and cell phone interviews, with weighting applied to ensure representativeness across phone types. Geographic data is derived from self-reported ZIP codes to improve accuracy, especially for mobile-only households.
