PEW RESEARCH CENTER NEWS INTEREST INDEX JANUARY 26-29, 2012 OMNIBUS

Pew Research Center – January 2012 News Interest Index (Omnibus Survey) Conducted January 26–29, 2012, this nationally representative survey (N=1,006) captures public interest in current events using a dual-frame RDD sample of landline and cell phone users. Weighting adjustments ensure accurate representation across phone types. Geographic variables are derived from self-reported ZIP codes to improve precision, especially for mobile-only respondents. Privacy protections include removal of ZIP codes, counties, and phone numbers from the public dataset.
