This dataset originates from the Pew Research Center’s July 2013 Political Survey, conducted via telephone interviews with a nationally representative sample of 1,480 U.S. adults. It includes both landline and cell phone respondents via Random Digit Dialing (RDD). The survey explores public opinion on major political and social issues including the Zimmerman verdict, economic recovery, NSA surveillance, abortion laws, and party identity. It also includes multiple weighting strategies and geographic coding protocols.
