This dataset originates from the Pew Research Center’s July 2019 Political Survey, conducted via telephone interviews with a nationally representative sample of 1,502 U.S. adults. It includes both landline and cell phone respondents via Random Digit Dialing (RDD). The survey explores public opinion on the 2020 presidential field, economic sentiment, global threats, and institutional trust. It also includes demographic recoding syntax and weighting strategies for comparative analysis.
