Pew Research Center – February 2010 Political Survey Conducted February 3–9, 2010 (N=1,383), this nationally representative survey captures public opinion on congressional preferences, party leanings, and demographic identifiers during a politically transitional period. The survey was interrupted by a major East Coast snowstorm, resulting in a reduced sample size and a two-day pause in fieldwork. The dataset includes a constructed “Congressional Heat” variable to assess partisan leanings and a composite Hispanicity variable () derived from split-sample items.
