PEW RESEARCH CENTER FOR THE PEOPLE FEBRUARY 2007 POLITICAL KNOWLEDGE SURVEY

Pew Research Center – February 2007 Political Knowledge Survey Conducted February 1–13, 2007 (N=1,502), this nationally representative survey assesses Americans’ political knowledge using open-ended questions. It forms part of a longitudinal study titled What Americans Know: 1989–2007, tracking civic awareness over time. A follow-up survey conducted March 9–12, 2007 tested closed-ended versions of selected items from the February study. That secondary dataset is titled Knowledge Omnibus March07c.sav and was fielded via the ORC/Caravan omnibus platform.
