Pew Research Center 19th Amendment Survey (March–April 2020)

The 19th Amendment Survey was conducted by the Pew Research Center from March 18–April 1, 2020, with a nationally representative sample of 3,143 U.S. adults. The survey was administered online (web) in both English and Spanish. The dataset includes a weight variable (WEIGHT) that should be applied in all analyses to ensure representativeness.

The survey marked the centennial of the 19th Amendment, which granted women the right to vote, and explored Americans’ views on gender equality, feminism, activism, and political participation. Ipsos provided panel data collection, and certain demographic variables were collected outside this survey. Information about randomization order, device type, and interview times is available upon request.
