Pew Research Center – February 2008 Political Knowledge Update Survey Conducted February 28–March 2, 2008 (N=1,003), this nationally representative survey assesses public knowledge of political figures, global events, and economic indicators during the 2008 election cycle. The dataset includes a 13-item questionnaire with variable name mappings and a constructed 12-point political knowledge scale derived from coded responses. The survey provides insight into civic awareness and informational gaps across the U.S. electorate.
