The dataset contains detailed information of 475 suicide bombing attacks in Pakistan from 1995-2017.
Variables:
The dataset contains Serial No, Incident Date, Islamic Date (based on Islamic lunar calendar), approximate Time, Long-Latitude, City, Province, Location, Location Sensitivity & Type, Target type and Sect, Open/Close Space (as it will change the impact of blast waves due to reflection), min and max number of people killed and injured, number of suicide bombers, amount of explosive being used and the name of hospitals where victims went for treatment.
Analysis:
Interpretation was focused on total number of people killed and injured in suicide blasts in major cities and provinces. The total number of blasts occurred on the type of location were analyzed. The number of people killed were further analyzed in different categories as per occupation e.g. government officials, army, civilians. The overall findings indicated the cities and areas most affected by terrorism in the last 22 years.
