Pakistan Sign Language Dataset

Pakistan Sign Language (PSL) is the preferred language of deaf people in Pakistan. In order to make the communication between deaf and normal people simpler and easier, computer-based PSL interpreters are required. This sign database for the Pakistan Sign Language is created with the goal of producing a dictionary for PSL and training an automatic sign recognizer, including over 2000 images where 9 non-expert subjects executed, 37 Urdu alphabet signs. and over 700 images where 9 non-expert subjects executed 12 Urdu words.
