Pakistan Integrated Household Survey 2001-2002

Introduction The objective of the Pakistan Integrated Household Survey (PIHS), a national sample survey, is to provide household and community level data which can be used to monitor, evaluate, and assess the impact of Social Action Program (SAP). More generally, data collected in this survey also provides a valuable data base that can also be used to carry out research on a wide range of topics and issues. The following sections outline the methodology that was followed in carrying out the 2001- 02 PIHS round, as well as provide a brief description of the 2001-2 PIHS data sets.
