Election Weekend 2000

The Election Weekend 2000 Survey was conducted by Pew Research Center during the final days before the 2000 U.S. presidential election. Fieldwork was carried out on different overlapping periods:

Nov 1–4, 2000 → data used for the Nov 5 release

Nov 2–5, 2000 → data used for the Nov 6 release

Nov 1–5, 2000 → full sample

The survey provides detailed insights into public opinion and voting intention in the closing days of the 2000 election, including likely voter measures, candidate support, and political attitudes.

The dataset is structured into multiple cards per respondent (5 cards total) and includes several weight variables for analysis of different field period subsets.
