Dates: November 10–14, 2016.

Mode: Telephone interviews (landline & cell).

Weighting: Use WEIGHT for all analyses.

Demographics: Taken from original Aug/Oct 2016 surveys (variables labeled with prefix orig).

Party variables:

Current survey: party, partyln.

Pre-election surveys: peparty, pepartyln, pepartysum.

Geographic info: Based on self-reported ZIP codes when available; otherwise from sample frame. ZIP code, county, and phone numbers removed for privacy.

Constructed variables included in dataset:

racecmb: Combined race categories.

racethn: Race & ethnicity composite.

partyideo: Party + ideology index.

gen5: Generation classification (Greatest, Silent, Boomer, Gen X, Millennial).
